The Hotel Osejava combines the ideal features of a training facility within walking distance (350 meters away), a location right on the sea, and amenities such as a sauna and a heated outdoor pool. In addition, the destination offers excellent value for money. Most rooms offer a direct view of the sea or a view of the harbor. As a result, the destination meets all the requirements for an ideal training camp.
Training
Practices are held on the artificial turf field located directly behind the hotel, which is about a 350-meter walk away. The artificial turf field measures 95 by 60 meters.

Hotel
The hotel has 45 rooms and 5 apartments. Dalmatian architecture is reflected in the hotel’s lovingly designed details. Guests have access to two bars, two restaurants, and a meeting room. There is also a beauty and wellness center offering massages, manicures, and pedicures. A pine forest ends right next to the hotel; at the other end of the forest, Nugal Beach awaits as a hidden gem for (trail) runners. The hotel offers several parking spaces as well as an underground parking garage for cars, both of which can be used free of charge. A bus parking lot is located approximately 600 meters from the hotel and is subject to a fee.
Rooms
Modern room amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar, and a telephone. Rooms are available with ocean views, park views, or pool views, and with or without a balcony.
Wellness
The hotel’s heated outdoor pool is open year-round. Depending on weather conditions—such as during a severe storm—the pool may be temporarily closed. The hotel’s beauty salon features a large sauna. If this sauna is not in operation, another sauna is available in one of the apartments and can be used by our staff. Directly behind the artificial turf field is the Makarska Sports Hall, which houses a swimming pool with multiple lanes.
Fitness
The Makarska Sports Hall also features a 185 m² fitness center, which our teams can use at a special rate. The equipment includes treadmills, stationary bikes, steppers, a rowing machine, as well as weights, barbells, dumbbells, adjustable benches, racks, and sit-up benches.
Map
Makarska is a port city on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast with a population of just under 14,000 and is located a good 80 km south of Split. It is known for the beaches of the Makarska Riviera, its beach promenade, and its nightlife. Kačić Square forms the center of the old town, which is situated in a small bay between wooded headlands. Ferries connect the city to the nearby island of Brač. To the east rise the rugged Biokovo Mountains, a nature reserve and home to the golden eagle and the Balkan chamois. A winding road leads up to the summit of Sveti Jure, which, at 1,762 meters, is the highest peak in the mountain range.
Activities
Beach/Swimming
The approximately 1,500-meter-long fine-pebble beach Centralna Plaza in Donja Luka Bay is the main beach of the resort town of Makarska. It is about 1 km from the hotel. Further north, the Cvitacka and Buba beaches offer additional beautiful stretches of beach. To the south, beyond a pine forest stretching a good 2 km, Nugal Beach awaits as a hidden gem for those looking to explore it (trail running routes are available to get there).
Sports Facilities
The Makarska Sports Center offers attractive facilities for both indoor and outdoor activities. A large sports hall for various ball sports, two indoor swimming pools, a weight room, a martial arts hall, table tennis, another small weight room, and another small ball sports hall, four bowling lanes, two artificial turf football fields, and two clay tennis courts, basketball and bocce courts.
A beautifully situated tennis complex with a total of ten courts is located 1.6 km away, along the harbor promenade. Other training options include hiking up the local mountain, Vosac (a well-marked network of hiking trails is available in the region), or renting mountain bikes to cycle along the coastal road or around the mountain ridge into the unspoiled hinterland. For the more ambitious, there’s the 23-kilometer toll road leading to the highest point of the Biokovo Mountains, Sveti Jure.
