Pilsen football training camp FAQs

What should I bear in mind when planning?
The popular dates in February and March are in particularly high demand from teams and are already fully booked by mid-September.
When is the perfect time to travel to Pilsen for a training camp?
Due to the excellent sports facilities and good accessibility, training camps in the Pilsen region are ideal in both winter and summer.
Does SOCCATOURS organize team building activities?
In cooperation with our SOCCATOURS staff in the Czech Republic, we can of course organize team-building activities for you in advance. SPA paintball, a brewery tour at the famous "Pilsner Urquell" brewery or a visit to a Viktoria Pilsen league match are particularly popular with the teams.
Who can we contact if we have any questions on site?
If there are any spontaneous questions or uncertainties on site, you can reach us in the office during the week as usual. In addition, we have a German-speaking SOCCATOURS employee on site in the Czech Republic, who is available for you at any time during your training camp. You will find the respective telephone number of our employee in the Czech Republic or the hotel contact person in your travel documents.
Are grass pitches playable in winter?
Due to the weather conditions in Pilsen, all training sessions and friendly matches in the months of January to April always take place on artificial turf. In order to provide the teams with optimal training conditions, we personally inspect the quality of the artificial turf pitches on site every year.
What happens if a participant is injured or falls ill at short notice?
Both our hotel partners and we know that with a group size of around 25 people, it is always possible for a participant to cancel at short notice. SOCCATOURS therefore always tries to find the most accommodating solution for the teams in cooperation with its long-standing hotel partners. A cancellation by one person two to three days before arrival is therefore usually not a problem. In order to be 100% on the safe side and avoid possible cancellation costs, we offer the teams appropriate travel cancellation insurance in cooperation with ALLIANZ.
