Hotel and Restaurant Zur Post

The Hotel Zur Post is a family-run hotel in the heart of Weilheim an der Teck. Because it’s a small, intimate hotel, guests can discuss their needs directly with the owner. Its excellent transportation links make it the ideal location for a short training camp in Baden-Württemberg, offering outstanding value for money.

Training takes place on the artificial turf field at TSV Weilheim, which is located about 2 kilometers from the hotel. The training facility has two natural grass fields and one artificial turf field. In the winter, training sessions are held exclusively on the artificial turf field, which measures 90 by 60 meters.

The Hotel Zur Post is a family-run hotel in the center of Weilheim an der Teck. The hotel has a total of 20 rooms (12 single rooms and 8 double rooms) and an attached restaurant with seating for about 85 guests, serving traditional Swabian cuisine. A few free parking spaces are available at the hotel.

Since the hotel restaurant is closed on Saturdays, lunch and dinner will be served at Ristorante Pizzeria Dolce Vita, located right next to the training facility. Training schedules will be arranged accordingly to ensure that meals take place immediately after training.

There are a few bars in Weilheim itself. For a wider selection, take a trip to neighboring Kirchheim unter Teck, where there are also clubs.

Things to Do

The historic old town of Weilheim an der Teck, with its half-timbered houses, market square, and St. Peter’s Church, is a particularly good choice for a group outing. Limburg Castle, Teck Castle, and the surrounding landscape of the Swabian Alb are also great destinations for day trips and hikes.
