My personal tip for you
The former monastery and current Schweiklberg guest house is located above the town of Vilshofen on the Danube. The artificial turf pitch is only 200 meters from the accommodation, although nearby natural grass pitches can also be requested. Without much distraction, this is the ideal place to prepare for the championship round. Nearby leisure facilities round off the offer.
Training
There is an artificial turf pitch just 200 meters from the accommodation. If you want to train on natural grass in the summer, you can use one of the surrounding pitches, which are just a ten-minute drive away.

Hotel
The Schweiklberg guest house is located above the town of Vilshofen on the Danube and its two towers create an imposing picture. The former monastery has now been converted into a guest house, but the historical features are still there, creating a special atmosphere. The four seminar rooms can be used for team meetings.
Rooms
The guest house has 34 rooms, which are divided into single and double rooms. All rooms are furnished in a modern, rustic style and have their own bathroom with shower/WC and a TV. Many of the rooms are also equipped with a desk.
Map
Vilshofen an der Donau is the largest town in the district of Passau. The Lower Bavarian town is easily accessible thanks to a main road and its proximity to the border triangle of Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
Activities
Beach/swimming facilities
The indoor and outdoor swimming pool in Vilshofen is less than a kilometer away. In the summer months, there is a diving platform, water slides, beach volleyball court and a kiosk in the outdoor area.
Sports facilities
There is an ice rink right next to the swimming pool, where ice skating is possible in the winter months.
Nightlife
The city center of Vilshofen an der Donau is less than two kilometers from the accommodation, where you can find various bars and clubs. Alternatively, you can take a trip to Passau.
