Training
The training session will take place at the sports complex in Bebra, which is about an eight-minute drive away. There, you'll find a modern artificial turf field built in 2025 that offers excellent conditions for your training.

Hotel
The Posthotel Rotenburg is a family-run 4-star hotel in a central location right on the Fulda River. In addition to 82 modern rooms, you’ll find a restaurant serving regional and international cuisine, a cozy hotel bar, and a bright sunroom. To help you recharge after training sessions, a wellness area with a Finnish sauna, steam room, and fitness center is available. In the evening, the hotel’s self-service bar in the basement is the perfect place to wind down the day together as a team. There are about 50 free parking spaces right next to the hotel. Six meeting and event rooms of various sizes are also available upon request for team meetings, video analysis, or team events.

The 82 modern single and double rooms offer football teams a high level of comfort and a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. All rooms are non-smoking and feature comfortable amenities, including a private bathroom, TV, and free Wi-Fi.
Fitness
The hotel’s fitness room is equipped with modern Matrix machines and offers ideal opportunities for supplementary strength and athletic training sessions. This allows teams to work on their fitness in a targeted manner even outside of their regular training schedule.

For recovery after training sessions, the indoor pool in Rotenburg an der Fulda and the Aquafit indoor pool in Bad Hersfeld are ideal . If you’re looking for additional relaxation, the KissSalis Therme or the Kurhessen Therme are just about 30 minutes away; with their various saunas and wellness offerings, they provide ideal conditions for recovery.
Nightlife
Nightlife in Rotenburg an der Fulda tends to be on the quiet side. In the city center, you’ll find a few restaurants and cozy bars that are perfect for a relaxed team night out. The self-service bar in the hotel’s basement offers a particularly laid-back option. For a wider selection of bars and nightlife options, a trip to Bad Hersfeld or Fulda is recommended.
Supporting Activities
The region also has plenty to offer away from the training field. Possible excursion destinations include the railroad museum in Bebra’s historic water tower and the Merkers Adventure Mine, which offers exciting insights into potash mining and the underground crystal grotto during a roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour. In addition, the historic old town of Rotenburg and the forested surroundings are perfect for group walks, hikes, or bike rides.
