My personal tip for you
Our destination in Sopron is easy to reach, has good training facilities and modern hotel facilities. Thanks to the pleasant climate, Sopron is also an excellent choice in winter.
Training
there is a well-maintained natural grass pitch and an artificial turf pitch around 1.4 kilometers away (a ten-minute jog to warm up or a three-minute drive by car). The club's youth training center is also around 4 kilometers away, with another natural grass and artificial turf pitch in good condition. In February and March, training takes place exclusively on the artificial turf pitches. The pitch allocation and training times are fixed directly when the training camp is booked. Due to the start of the championship in Hungary, test matches are only possible in March if a second training camp team is on site at the same time.

Hotel
The modern designed hotel offers a restaurant, a bar/lounge, a café, a sun terrace, a lounge, a salon, several meeting rooms, a fitness room and as a highlight a 546 m² wellness area with indoor swimming pool. Free WLAN Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Generous parking facilities for cars and buses are available directly at the hotel.
Rooms
The hotel offers a total of 144 rooms divided into several room categories (Standard, Standard Plus, Forest and family rooms with connecting door, apartments, two-room suites and a grand suite). All rooms are equipped with separable beds, air conditioning, desk, luggage rack, bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer and WC, Smart LED TV with radio, safe, minibar, telephone and most of them have a balcony. Bathrobes are also available for the wellness area. The Standard Plus rooms are slightly larger and offer a bathroom with shower and bathtub as well as a work corner, the suites then also have an additional living room with couch. All rooms have WLAN Internet access and the view is always either of the park in front of the hotel or of the hotel garden.
Fitness
The hotel has a small fitness room, which is equipped with a free weights area, a treadmill, a cross trainer and an ergometer.
Wellness
The wellness area offers a pool area with a swimming pool (6x12 meters, 75 m², 28°C), an adventure pool (36 m², 34°C), a children's pool and a relaxation area with loungers. The sauna area offers a Finnish sauna, an aroma sauna, an ice fountain, heated benches, a devil's sauna, an infrared cabin, a heated bench and a bucket shower.

Sopron, called Ödenburg in German, is located southwest of Lake Neusiedl, about 60 kilometers from Vienna, and is easily accessible via the southeast freeway. The Austrian border is only about eight kilometers away. The hotel is situated in a quiet location on the edge of a nature reserve, about two kilometers from the city center.

Beach/swimming facilities
About 1.8 kilometers from the hotel there is an indoor swimming pool with a 33.33 meter pool (water polo). In the summer months, a swimming trip to the nearby Lake Neusiedl is recommended.
Nightlife
Sopron offers cozy bars, lively clubs and atmospheric wine cellars for going out. In summer, numerous open-air events and festivals provide varied entertainment.
Supporting program
We recommend excursions to the city center, the Sopron Casino, Lake Neusiedl or, for example, the nearby designer outlet in Parndorf in Burgenland/Austria.
Team building
There is a climbing forest in the immediate vicinity and a beautiful go-kart track in Sopron.

Other information
A deposit of € 200.00 per team must be paid at the hotel reception upon check-in. This amount will be refunded to the team on the day of departure, provided that no damage, destruction or excessive waste has occurred.
