My personal tip for you
Renovated from the ground up, the STB Campus offers all teams ideal conditions for a targeted training camp. It is not without reason that the facility is used by numerous clubs and associations for training and further education measures. The short distance to the training grounds rounds off the successful overall package.
Training
Training takes place primarily on the sports grounds 1.3 kilometers away (15 minutes' walk). A newly renovated artificial turf pitch and a natural grass pitch are available. Alternatively, another artificial turf pitch is available in the neighboring village (5 minutes' drive). If the pitches are not playable in time due to weather conditions (heavy snowfall), training can take place in Mergelstetten (approx. 20 kilometers). The local club has the appropriate equipment to clear the artificial turf pitch very quickly.

Hotel
The campus is in a quiet location on the edge of the forest in Bartholomä. The catering in the restaurant with its conservatory-like extension is tailored to the needs of athletes. The training and seminar rooms of various sizes are equipped with modern technology and projectors. You can end the evenings in a cozy atmosphere in the fireplace room.
Rooms
All rooms are brand new and very modern. Shower and WC as well as TV sets are obligatory. Single or double rooms are available.
Fitness
There is an outdoor fitness park on the premises where numerous strength exercises can be performed.
Wellness
You can relax in the 8-person sauna.

Around 75 kilometers east of Stuttgart and a two-hour drive from Lake Constance, the state-approved resort town of Bartholomä is quietly located in the Ostalbkreis district. The nickname "the village at the edge of the sky" is a particularly good indication of the tranquillity and beautiful nature of the region.

Sports facilities
The accommodation includes a tennis court, a gymnastics hall with a mirror wall, steps, swinging bars, etc., a gym with permanently installed equipment and a beach volleyball court. The location of the sports center right on the edge of the forest is ideal for forest runs or bike tours. In winter, you can also go skiing and cross-country skiing.
