Training

The town of Santa Pola has a total of four football pitches, two with natural grass and two with artificial turf. The artificial turf pitches are located in the same street as the hotel and are five hundred and nine hundred meters away from the hotel. 1.2 km from the hotel is the Santa Pola stadium, which has a very well-kept natural grass pitch and is within walking distance. A second natural grass pitch is located at the northern end of Santa Pola, which can be reached by a three-minute transfer. The respective pitch use will be communicated accordingly in the offer phase.

Hotel

The Hotel Gran Playa is located just a few meters outside the center of Santa Pola. The hotel rooms have recently been completely renovated and have a successful design. The hotel offers a bar, a restaurant, a communal and meeting room as well as a leisure area with billiards, table football and other games. For football teams there is also an equipment room in the basement.

Rooms

The hotel offers single, double and triple rooms, all of which are equipped with bath/WC, seating, telephone, flat-screen TV, W-Lan and minibar. The rooms have recently been completely renovated and feature a high-quality design.

Fitness

A small fitness room with the most important training materials/equipment is available in the hotel.

Wellness

Unfortunately, there is no wellness area in this hotel.

Santa Pola is an arts resort on the Costa Blanca south of Alicante. The salt lagoons around Santa Pola are used for salt mining. It is only around 15 km to Alicante airport, which takes around 20 minutes, and around 25 km to the city center.

Activities

Beach/swimming

The sandy beach on the Costa Blanca is just 600 meters from the hotel.

Nightlife

Santa Pola tends to be quiet in the winter months, which is why excursions to Elche or Alicante City are also an option here.

Social program

Due to the proximity to Alicante and Elche, city trips to these two cities are a good option. A visit to the stadium in Elche is also a popular excursion destination.

Sporting opportunities

The wonderful beach of Santa Pola, which is just 600 meters from the hotel, is ideal for running and athletic training.

Team building

A boat trip to the nearby island of Tabarca is particularly suitable for a team-building event.

SOCCATOURS handled the booking very well. the rooms were very large and spacious. the food was good. the new artificial turf pitch was very good. we were able to play our test match in the stadium in Santa Pola. the training equipment could be a bit better. we had the test match against TSV Meckenhausen. the game ended 0:0. the referee was good. SOCCATOURS contact person Jordi was always available and even showed us around the city a bit. we also got bar tips from him. we went on an excursion to Alicante and partied there until late into the night. we were very satisfied with the training camp.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis find ich super!
Die ganze Organisation und Materialien waren super vorbereitet. Ich werde euch sehr gerne weiterempfehlen. Wir werden auch das nächste Trainingslager wieder über euch buchen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Die Unterkunft entsprach unseren Angaben. Einzig das Essen war teils lauwarm. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung. Die Plätze wie auch das Trainingsmaterial waren sehr gut. Wir haben hauptsächlich die Schwerpunkte auf die Taktik und Standards gesetzt.

Wir hatten ein Spiel gegen Santa Pola 2. Körperlich konnte die Mannschaft nicht mithalten, jedoch waren Sie spielerisch/technisch besser als wir. Das Spiel ging unentschieden 2:2 aus. Für uns war dieses Spiel ein tolles Erlebnis und ein sehr gutes Vorbereitungsspiel. Der Schiedsrichter hat eine sehr gute Leistung gezeigt.

Vor Ort hat alles super geklappt und falls ich Hilfe benötigte, konnte ich Jordi schreiben und ich bekam sofort Antwort.

I was totally satisfied with the handling and the booking process. there is nothing to improve. the accommodation was fine. the food was excellent and the staff was good. the fitness area was good - unfortunately there was no wellness area. the training ground was good - the artificial turf could be "better or newer". the natural grass was good. maybe next time we could only train on natural grass. standards and game forms - our coaching team set these priorities and they could be trained well here. test match: unfortunately this was the only point that could not be implemented because there was no team available for us. so we had to play an internal one. unfortunately there is not too much going on in Santa Pola in winter - but we were able to find one or two restaurants. therefore we had to hold our evening event in Alicante. Conclusion: was totally fine. we would book with you again

Die komplette Abwicklung war unkompliziert und sehr persönlich! Sehr geholfen hat, dass uns mit Jordi ein kompetenter Reiseleiter/organisator zur Verfügung stand, welcher wirklich rund um die Uhr erreichbar war. Selbst die kleinsten Probleme konnten so geklärt werden. Auch die Zahlung war unkompliziert. Winziges Manko: unsere Flugzeitenänderung wurde uns erst einen Tag vorher mitgeteilt (als kurze Randnotiz in der Mail), daher hatten wir Probleme den Flughafentransfer nach München (privat organisiert) noch umzuändern.
Das Hotel ist ein klassisches 3 Sterne-Spanien-Hotel. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war ausreichend und nicht dreckig. Kleinigkeiten (nicht abschließbares Bad, nicht ausschaltbares Infrarotlicht) störten nicht wirklich, sodass man sich nicht beschweren kann! Am besten ist, dass individuell auf die Essenszeiten eingegangen wurde und wir somit das Trainingslager zeitlich perfekt ausnutzen konnten! Das Essen war vielfältig und durchwegs lecker.
