My personal tip for you

Bad Vigaun offers ideal conditions for a winter training camp on artificial turf. The artificial turf pitch is only about 400 meters from the hotel and is reliably prepared for our teams or cleared as quickly as possible after heavy snowfall. A great alternative for teams who want to save themselves the long journey to the south. As a "treat", the hotel offers 1x free admission to the Heiltherme from a stay of 3 nights.

Training

The artificial turf pitch in Bad Vigaun (built in 2008, filled with new granulate in 2015) is only around 400 meters from the hotel. It is also possible to use the artificial turf pitch in Hallein, approx. 4.7 kilometers from the hotel. On request, training sessions can also be arranged in the sports hall on parquet (25x19m).

Hotel

Family-run boutique hotel (4th generation) with outstanding cuisine (including falstaff award-winning) right in the center of Bad Vigaun. The stylish hotel was completely renovated in 2022 and has a popular restaurant, a ballroom, a bicycle garage, children's playground and sunbathing lawn. Free WLAN internet access is available throughout the hotel.

All 24 rooms are equipped with shower/WC, cable TV (flat-screen TV), free WLAN Internet access, desk, telephone and balcony. For an additional charge, accommodation would also be possible in the spacious suites newly built in 2022.

Wellness

The Heiltherme Bad Vigaun with Roman pool and indoor and outdoor pools (28°-36°) is definitely worth a visit. It is approx. 1200 meters from the hotel. Our groups receive a special rate.

SOCCATOURS handled it very well, fast response times! Hotel was outstanding, couldn't have been better. Training ground super easy to reach, only 400m from the hotel. We practiced technique and tactics. Also great connection to Salzburg with the S-Bahn. Conclusion: would book it again in a heartbeat.

Das Team von SOCCATOURS war sehr freundlich und hat alle wünsche sehr schnell bearbeitet. Wir konnten schon alles wichtige, wie Trainingszeiten und Essenszeiten, vor Reisebeginn klären. Die Zimmer des Hotels waren sehr schön und das Essen war abwechslungsreich und sehr gut. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals hätte besser nicht sein können. Der Kunstrasenplatz war zwar schon älter, aber die Qualität des Platzes war sehr gut. Der Platz war nur ca. 500 Meter vom Hotel entfernt und somit auch sehr gut ohne Auto zu erreichen. Unsere Schwerpunkte: Da wir am Anfang der Vorbereitung standen, war der Schwerpunkt auf das Ausdauertraining gelegt. Des weiteren konnten wir auch Techniktraining abhalten und Spielformen ausprobieren. Trainingsspiel: Wir hatten kein Trainingsspiel, da es von unserer Seite nicht gewollt war. Just like last year, we were extremely satisfied with the organisation in advance and on site. E-mails were answered quickly and the telephone contact was very good. Very nice, clean hotel with good and plentiful food. Very friendly staff; they also responded to the guests' wishes. The training ground and the cabins were in perfect condition. Our focus: game forms and standards. Training could be carried out without any problems. Supporting programme: Bad Vigaun is a quiet, relaxed place with few distractions - the focus was on the team. It was just right.
conclusion: The training camp was a complete success in the eyes of everyone (coaches and players). Everyone was delighted with the organization, the hotel and the sports field. There's nothing to complain about.

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and some of the hotel rooms had just been renovated. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a point for the food. I didn't have any problems with it, but more on that in my conclusion. The training pitch and the cabins were really good. We brought everything else with us. We focused on coordination and playing forms. The pitch is in very good condition and training on it is simply fun. The training pitch is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. There was always someone nearby if we had any questions. It snowed on Monday and Tuesday, the pitch was cleared perfectly and we were able to train. Climate: 2 days of snow and 2 days of blue skies and sunshine - unfortunately it rained on the last day. Social programme: The guest card, which you can apply for at the tourist information office, gives you cheaper entry to the local thermal baths and you can travel by train for free. The train station is 10 minutes from the hotel.
conclusion: The whole training camp was well planned. It was a great hotel with very nice staff. The great training ground is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The only criticism is that you couldn't choose between several meals. The food was set by the hotel, if you didn't like it at all they cooked extra for you, which is of course great. I still prefer a buffet or several dishes to choose from. With a group of almost 30 people, it's difficult to get everyone to like one meal... It was also great that there was soup before lunch and dinner. Soup is always really great in the cold temperatures.
