Unsere Destination in Wenigzell überzeugt mit dem sehr schönen, familiengeführten Hotel mit überragender Küche, einem tollen Wellnessbereich sowie den Trainingsmöglichkeiten: im Sommer ein Naturrasenplatz in unmittelbarer Gehdistanz, in den Frühjahrsmonaten der Kunstrasenplatz in Strallegg.
My personal tip for you
Our destination in Wenigzell is perfect for ambitious amateur clubs and professional teams. The great sports facilities in combination with the excellent 4* hotel make an undisturbed training camp at a high level possible here. It is also an ideal destination for winter training camps, as there is a very good artificial turf pitch just seven kilometers away and the hotel offers ideal conditions with its spacious wellness area and indoor pool. The family atmosphere is particularly worth mentioning, and a final evening at the "Bratlalm" is almost a must!
Training
In the immediate vicinity of the hotel (approx. 250 meters) there is a very good natural grass pitch, which is also equipped with floodlights. In Waldbach (about a seven-minute drive from the hotel) there are also two other very good natural grass pitches. In bad weather and in winter (February, March), training takes place on the artificial turf pitch in Strallegg (about seven kilometers or a nine-minute drive from the hotel). There is also a sports hall with parquet flooring in Wenigzell, which we can reserve for you if you wish.

Hotel
The hotel is a family-run business, which is immediately noticeable - the owners personally take care of their guests' needs. The entire hotel is stylish, modern and furnished to a very high standard and has a lobby, reading room, house bar, restaurant, drinks service on each floor, wireless internet, several meeting rooms, ample parking and a beautiful garden with a natural swimming pond.
Rooms
The hotel has 23 double rooms, twelve single rooms and seven suites, with a maximum total of 73 beds. All rooms are beautifully furnished to a high standard with bar/minibar, satellite TV, telephone, safe, radio, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, toilet and balcony. A bathrobe is available for every guest.
Map
Our destination in Wenigzell is located in the mountains of the so-called Joglland in the north-east of Styria. The hotel is right in the center of the village, but still in the countryside.

Beach/swimming facilities
The hotel has an indoor pool and there is also a beautiful indoor pool (Joglland Oase) with sauna area.
Nightlife
Wenigzell is a quiet village with around 1,400 inhabitants. To go out, we recommend a trip to Hartberg (approx. half an hour's drive).
Social program & team building
A special recommendation from the hosts and also from us is a final evening at the rustic Bratlalm, a cosy Almheuriger not far from the hotel. Info: The Bratlalm opens every year at the beginning of March, for teams in February we can alternatively offer a visit to a rustic mountain hut with dinner or e.g. a hike with schnapps tasting. In nearby Pöllau there is a popular restaurant with bowling alleys, the Inseltown. Please just ask. We are happy to organize team-building units such as climbing garden, go-kart races etc. for you.
Sports facilities
There are numerous running and mountain bike trails in the surrounding area. Wenigzell also has a Nordic walking center. The barefoot path next to the football pitch is ideal in summer and is very popular with the professional teams. There is also a sports hall with parquet flooring in the village.
