The special location of the hotel in the middle of the city park offers the direct possibility of a running session on the one hand and a quiet retreat on the other. In combination with the fitness and wellness area and the large indoor pool, it offers excellent conditions in summer and winter.

Training

At the Karlovske Porici sports center, around five kilometers from the hotel, there is an artificial turf (90 x 45 meters) and a natural turf (105 x 68 meters). In the winter months, training only takes place on artificial turf.

Hotel

Built in the 1990s, the Parkhotel lives up to its name as it is located in the middle of a historic park (great walking paths). The central point of the hotel is a beautiful restaurant with a panoramic view, a bar, a games room, two conference rooms and a reception area with seating. The highlights of this hotel are undoubtedly the direct access to a large indoor pool and its own fitness and wellness area.

Rooms

The hotel offers 55 beautifully furnished rooms, which are divided into Standard, Economy and First Class rooms. All rooms have a bathroom with shower or bathtub, WC, flat-screen TV, direct-dial telephone, minibar, safe and free WLAN Internet access.

Fitness

The hotel also offers a very spacious and well-equipped fitness center and a gym (also for a small surcharge).

Wellness

The wellness area can be used for a small entrance fee and offers a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a whirlpool and a relaxation room. The hotel also offers direct access to an indoor pool with a 25m pool, water slide etc.

(German: Falkenau an der Eger) is located in the Karlovy Vary region and is only about 30-40 minutes from the German border. It is situated in the spa triangle of Karlovy Vary-Marienbad-Franzensbad. The Parkhotel is located in the historic castle park right in the center of the town of 24,000 inhabitants.

The hotel offers direct access to the municipal indoor swimming pool with a 25 m pool. In summer, we recommend a trip to the "Jezero Michal" swimming pond with lido, water slides etc., just a few minutes away from the accommodation.

Nightlife

Sokolov is not just a tourist town, so there is something to do here at any time of year.

Supporting program

We recommend either a visit to the town center or a trip to one of the three historic spa towns of Franzensbad, Marienbad or Karlsbad. A games room in the basement with table football, darts and various board games provides entertainment in the hotel.

Fitness, beautiful running trails in the park, tennis, indoor sports, ice hockey, large golf course, athletics hall, 25m pool directly at the accommodation, tennis etc.

We were really very satisfied with the handling. You responded to our wishes and even made small or large changes possible at short notice. The hotel is absolutely sufficient for a training camp with full board and definitely okay. The hotel manager took great care of his guests and their well-being. The food was sufficient and always delicious! The artificial turf pitch of Banik Sokolov is in top condition and can easily compete with comparable German pitches. The somewhat smaller artificial turf pitch has already seen its best years, but this was also sufficient. We mainly moved in the conditional and tactical area. The smaller artificial turf was somewhat unsuitable for the tactical area, otherwise we were able to carry out all focal points without any problems. Everything worked wonderfully on site and we were asked at any time whether everything was okay. In case of discrepancies we were helped immediately and there was a solution for every problem.

Trainingsplätze sind top gewesen, Schwerpunkte: Koordination, Technik, Standards, Trainingsspiel: Wir spielten gegen Chodov 6 Liga. Leider ist der Gegner zu schwach gewesen. 10:1 gewonnen und es hätte höher ausfallen können. Schiedsrichter hat sein möglichstes gemacht. Die Mannschaft aus Chodov hat leider dies mit der Härte leider ausgereizt. Wollte das Spiel eigentlich abbrechen.
Jede Einteilung hat genau gepasst. Auch vor Ort ist der Ansprechpartner vom Hotel jederzeit bei uns gewesen.
Wetter wie bei uns in dieser Zeit nur kein Schnee vor Ort. Hatte ich aber auch so erwartet, da wir nicht den Süden gebucht haben sondern in unserer Nähe.
Die Ortschaft ist nicht die größte. Cheb ist aber sehr nah. Disko, sowie Paintball sind gut.

The handling via fussballtrainingslager.com was very good. Everything was described accurately and transparently. The contact persons were quick and available at all times. The hotel was good overall. The rooms were sufficiently equipped and in good condition overall, although they varied greatly in size. The lady at reception could be a little friendlier. The food was okay in terms of taste, but the portions could be larger. A hungry adult will not necessarily be full here. It was also a shame that drinks were no longer served in the restaurant from 10 p.m. The fitness and wellness areas are as good as new and were very positively received. The hotel corresponded to the information provided. The three training pitches were in good condition and there is nothing to complain about. Our training focus was on game forms, technique, strength and coordination and could be carried out as planned. The school artificial turf is a little smaller and due to the lack of large pitches, it was not possible to train on it

conclusion: Overall, the training camp was positive, even if there were a few things to criticize here and there (size of the portions, common room/lounge in the evening in the hotel, drinks served in the evening, surrounding pubs and bars). We also felt that the distances to the respective pitches were not ideal. We would book with you again. Next time, we would go to a similarly distant destination (around 2 hours away), but with a more appealing evening program and close proximity to the sports field
