Football holds a particularly special place in Cologne, the city of the cathedral. That’s why we want our teams to feel like pros by staying at the same hotel where some Bundesliga teams have stayed in the past. The package includes meals tailored to athletes’ needs as well as relaxation in the sauna. The package is rounded out by excellent transportation links to the sports venue and downtown.

Training takes place on the artificial turf field, which is 3.2 kilometers from the hotel. It takes six minutes to get there by car. Since there are bus stops near both the hotel and the sports complex, it is also possible to get there by public transportation. The direct route takes about 15 minutes, and buses run at regular intervals.
Hotel
The hotel features 188 spacious rooms spread across five floors. Amenities include a breakfast restaurant, a lobby bar, and a wellness area with a sauna and a fitness center available for free use. A special highlight is the rooftop terrace on the fifth floor, offering panoramic views over the rooftops of Cologne. For shared meals and cozy evenings, the hotel’s bar offers a selection of drinks and light snacks. In addition, five modern conference rooms are available for events with up to 200 people. An on-site underground parking garage and free high-speed Wi-Fi round out the amenities.

Rooms
The spacious rooms feature a wood-inspired design. Standard amenities include a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a safe, and a self-service minibar. Some rooms also feature a balcony with a view of Cologne.

The small weight room is equipped with select cardio machines from TechnoGym.
Wellness
A light-filled relaxation area on the top floor, featuring numerous loungers, offers the perfect opportunity to unwind. Guests can also use the sauna for additional relaxation.

The PLAZA Premium Cologne is located in the Cologne-Mülheim district, north of downtown and just about a 10-minute walk from the banks of the Rhine. Thanks to excellent transportation links, downtown Cologne, the Cologne Trade Fair, and the Lanxess Arena are all within easy reach.

Swimming Options
There is a small indoor swimming pool 1.2 kilometers away. If you prefer a spa with a sauna area, the Claudius Therme is accessible via a direct public transportation connection in 15 minutes.
Nightlife
Cologne offers a diverse nightlife scene with numerous bars, pubs, breweries, and clubs. Cologne’s Old Town, with its traditional breweries, as well as the Belgian Quarter and the Ringe, are particularly popular nightlife destinations. From the PLAZA Premium Cologne in the Mülheim district, the central nightlife districts can be reached by public transportation. For groups, a night out together at a typical Cologne brewery or a visit to the bars and clubs in the city center is a great option.
Activities
Thanks to its location in northeast Cologne, guests can easily visit the stadiums of 1. FC Köln, Viktoria Köln, and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. In addition to well-known sights such as Cologne Cathedral and the Old Town, there are various indoor activities perfect for shared experiences and team-building.
