My personal tip for you
Use the Marveld RecreatiePark as a compact training camp with short distances and top infrastructure. The accommodation is right next to the sports park, so you can quickly get to the training ground on foot. This creates a training camp that optimally combines sport, regeneration and team spirit.
Training
SV Grol has excellent training pitches that are ideal for both youth and senior teams. Our teams have two artificial pitches and one natural grass pitch available for training sessions. The Marveld Recreatie Park is just a five-minute walk away. In the winter months, training sessions take place exclusively on the artificial turf.

Hotel
Marveld Recreatie Park offers both comfortable hotel rooms and spacious bungalows, with accommodation planned in the bungalows. The bungalows, on the other hand, provide flexible and communal accommodation for the whole team. The park itself also offers an exceptionally wide range of leisure and sports facilities, including a modern, subtropical swimming pool with several water slides, a wild water slide and separate pools.
Rooms
Accommodation in the bungalows at Marveld Recreatie Park is perfect for teams who want to focus on team spirit. Depending on the category, the spacious units offer space for several people, usually for smaller groups of around four to eight players per bungalow, and have shared living and lounge areas where the team can also spend a lot of time together off the pitch.

Marveld Recreatie is located in the Achterhoek region, on the edge of the historic fortified town of Groenlo, surrounded by nature reserves and beautiful cycle paths. The park is also very close to the German border, so guests can easily make day trips across the border. This location makes Marveld the ideal place for both active vacations and relaxing stays in a natural environment.

The subtropical swimming paradise is a real attraction for young and old. With several indoor and outdoor pools, spectacular water slides, a wild water ride and a spray park, it offers water fun for the whole family. The swimming pool is also equipped with every comfort, so that relaxation and action can be perfectly combined during your stay.
Sports facilities
Marveld Recreatie Park also offers numerous opportunities to stay active outside of traditional football training. Various tennis and padel courts as well as other sports facilities within the complex offer ideal conditions for additional sessions or casual activities in between.
Team building
Marveld Recreatie Park offers ideal conditions for strengthening team cohesion off the pitch. The in-house bowling alley in particular is ideal for team evenings in a relaxed atmosphere, where the team can relax at the end of the training day and promote team spirit at the same time.
