The Grand Hotel Bernardin***** is idyllically situated on the Adriatic coast between Portorož and Piran and offers direct access to the sea and a breathtaking panoramic view. The location combines peace and relaxation with proximity to restaurants, promenades and sports facilities.
Portorož can be easily reached from the Munich metropolitan region in around 5.5 to 6 hours by bus or car (approx. 480 km) via Salzburg and Ljubljana; alternatively, there are flight connections to Ljubljana or Trieste with subsequent transfer to the hotel.

Beach/swimming facilities
The Grand Hotel Bernardin***** has a private stretch of beach with direct access to the sea - ideal for relaxing after a workout. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a beach bar provide the best comfort.
Nightlife
Nightlife is limited in the winter months, with more options in Koper, 18 kilometers away. A trip to the casino is recommended.
Social program
A visit to the Portorož Casino - one of the oldest casinos on the Adriatic - is a great way to spend your free time. It's also worth taking a stroll through the old town of Piran or enjoying a team dinner in one of the excellent restaurants in the area.
Sports facilities
In addition to training sessions on the artificial turf pitch in Piran, teams can work out in the hotel gym or take advantage of the cool sea for ice swimming in the winter months. The surrounding area is also a perfect jogging spot.
