On tour in Spain: How SOCCATOURS personally inspects training camp destinations
It is still early in the morning when our colleague Sebas from the Netherlands boards the plane on Monday. Destination: Spain.
Mission: to personally inspect hotels and training facilities.
While many training camp providers rely on photos, contracts or external descriptions, SOCCATOURS takes a different approach – one that has been second nature to us for over 20 years: we regularly conduct business trips and travel to the locations where our teams will be training.
We personally inspect venues and hotels.
We speak directly with local partners.
We identify potential problems early on – and solve them directly.
It is precisely this personal quality assurance that sets SOCCATOURS apart in the market.
Business trips as a promise of quality: personal inspection of every training camp destination
Our business trips are not sightseeing tours. They are intensive, tightly scheduled work trips during which we:
- Check training facilities for current pitch quality
- Analyse hotels for their suitability for sports groups
- Make arrangements for the coming season
- Initiate improvements at existing destinations
- Acquire new destinations
- Secure exclusive quotas for our teams
What makes us unique:
Many of our employees are active coaches or players themselves.
They are on the pitch themselves and therefore know exactly what is important for a successful training camp. This perspective is what makes our on-site quality checks so valuable.
Example: Spain – four days of quality control in four regions
To show you what a business trip with SOCCATOURS looks like, we're taking you to Spain.
Our Dutch employee Sebas was on the road with our ‘local hero’ Jordi, who is on site in Spain 24/7 and knows every detail.

What does this quality control mean for teams?
Quite simply:
When your team books a training camp with us, you can be sure that:
✔ The venues have been personally inspected.
✔ The hotels have been visited in person.
✔ The partners have been personally briefed.
✔ Local contacts such as Jordi are available at all times.
✔ The processes work because we have tested them ourselves.
✔ Our advice is based on real experience.
✔ And: you are not booking a risk – but proven quality thanks to genuine quality checks.
Conclusion: business trips like these make all the difference – for us and for you.
We travel so that you can concentrate on your training.
We check so that you don't experience any surprises.
We invest time and expertise so that your training camp is as professional as you deserve.
And while most other providers only start planning when the season is just around the corner,
we are already working on your training camps for 2026 and 2027 – with real business trips, personal quality control and a clear mission:
Training camps of the highest quality – tested by people who know what teams need.
