General information regarding SOCCATOURS training camps.

In keeping with our slogan “Travelling to Success”, we want you to enjoy the perfect training camp. We have therefore compiled lots of information for you to make sure you are well informed before booking your trip to one of our destinations.

Of course! Please contact us to clarify the details. After all, every one of these trips is arranged individually.

No. This is a typical problem with group trips – very few clubs know months in advance exactly how many people will be taking part. If you make changes to your original booking (“cancellations” for fewer participants, “subsequent bookings” for more participants), we try to minimize the bureaucracy and costs involved.

More favourable cancellation conditions than the ones set out in our General Terms and Conditions of Business and Travel may apply. This is often the case as we have very good personal contacts with the hoteliers. In the case of training camps where you arrange your own travel, there are very rarely problems if the number of participants changes by one or two players at short notice. Then you normally only pay for the rooms that you actually need. However, you must inform us of any changes before your arrival so that we can notify the relevant service providers in good time.

If however the number of participants changes significantly – by more than two people – the service providers may charge cancellation fees, but no more than the amount given in our GT&CBT. The situation is more complicated for training camps involving air travel because subsequent changes always result in additional costs. In this case, the costs given in our GT&CBT will be incurred.

You should also bear in mind that if participants (even individual participants) fail to show up unannounced a 100% cancellation (“No Show”) fee is often payable.

We therefore recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance that will cover you in the event of illness or injury. Just to be on the safe side.

We are pleased to say that our training camps are very popular. Unfortunately, this high demand means that spaces are taken quite quickly (although we are working hard to solve this problem). You should therefore book your summer training camp by the end of April and your winter training camp by the end of November at the latest.

Naturally, we can try to find you rooms and training places at a later date too. However, this will be much more difficult because the choice is then much smaller. We will be adding new destinations for the coming season in order to expand the range of training camps on offer and to be able to accommodate more clubs.

For us as a tour operator it is important to know who we are dealing with: a club, a company or a private person. If there is no official club stamp on a booking form, we must assume that a private individual is booking with us and is therefore fully liable.

Even a club stamp is only an indication that a club wants to book with us rather than a private person. We therefore recommend that the booking is signed and stamped by an official representative (in the case of a club, usually the director and department head/chairman).

Unfortunately no, because as a tour operator/travel agent we are subject to differential taxation in accordance with §25 of the Value Added Tax Act and are therefore not allowed to show VAT.

Unfortunately no, because legally we have only one contractual partner and are therefore only allowed to issue one invoice.

If you arrive by private car or chartered bus, check-in usually begins at 14:00, unless stated otherwise. Check-out is generally at 10:00 on the day that you leave.

Other arrangements can of course be made if you speak to us. For air travel, the check-in and check-out times depend on flight times and will be announced individually.

Theoretically, you can organize your own travel to any training camp. This includes the flights. Naturally, we would be happy to organize flights for you.

We cannot give a general answer here. However, we know how important it is to have a regular schedule, so we reserve optimum training times in our exclusive destinations as early as six months before you arrive. Unfortunately, we cannot do this for all destinations but we are in regular contact with our partners and hope to be able to guarantee fixed training times for all destinations before arrival in the near future.

At the training facilities in Turkey, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus you will usually find a full range of equipment. The only thing you should bring with you is your own balls – our teams receive 100 kilograms of free baggage allowance with our partner airlines. For most other destinations where you travel privately, we ask that you bring your own training equipment such as balls, poles, hoops or cones. Mobile goals are generally available.

That is one of our most important tasks when organizing a training camp and is one of our key strengths. Every season we organize hundreds of friendly and practice games.

We have a very large network in the football world, not least thanks to our own local staff, the FIFA Match Agent licence held by our managing director Marcus Häusler and his membership in FIFMA, the network of renowned FIFA match agents, to which only two German match agents belong. We also have the largest number of teams on location at most destinations, so we can often arrange matches well in advance. In short, it is not normally a problem.
