The South Bohemia region stretches along the German and Austrian borders and, thanks to its geographical location, is a popular destination for both German and Austrian teams every year.
Compared to the other 13 regions, the South Bohemia region has the lowest population density in the Czech Republic and is therefore somewhat more rural. The largest city in the region and also the administrative seat of South Bohemia is České Budějovice with around 100,000 inhabitants. Due to the limited capacities in South Bohemia, early booking is recommended. The popular dates in particular are very popular due to the short journey of the teams from Austria and Bavaria (especially Lower Bavaria) and are fully booked around five to six months in advance.
Due to the good quality of the artificial turf pitches in South Bohemia, training camps are ideal in winter to prepare for the upcoming second half of the season.
No, the exact number of participants does not have to be known at the time of booking. Having organized over 1300 training camps every year, we know that the contact person cannot know the exact number of participants six months before arrival. As long as there are free beds available at the destination, additional players/officials can easily be booked with us shortly before arrival. Of course, we and our long-standing hotel partners also know that a player can get injured or fall ill at short notice.
