Hotel Otavarena***
The Otavarena Hotel in Pisek offers comfortable rooms, a restaurant, wellness area and well-maintained football pitches. It is quietly located on the Otava River, close to the old town.
My personal tip for you
Pisek offers optimal training conditions; it is rare to find such a well-maintained sports facility right next to the hotel. The artificial turf was last renovated in 2015. For years, it has been a very popular destination for many Czech and international teams of all levels.
Training
Training takes place directly on the hotel grounds on three very good natural grass pitches or alternatively, or in winter, on a third-generation artificial pitch. A beach football pitch is also available on request.

Hotel
The hotel has a total of 20 double rooms, some of which can be extended to a triple room with an extra bed, as well as two suites. The hotel also has a restaurant with sun terrace, two conference rooms, a large parking lot in front of the hotel and WiFi Internet. The hotel offers a fully equipped fitness room for strength training and a relaxation area with whirlpool, sauna and relaxation room for regeneration.
Rooms
All rooms are equipped with a satellite TV, telephone, shower and WC. The beds can be separated. The two suites are available for more demanding guests.

The hotel is situated in a quiet location directly on the Otava River and yet only a few hundred meters from the center of the beautiful old town of Pisek, a town of 30,000 inhabitants around 100 kilometers south of Prague and around 50 kilometers north of Budweis.
Activities
Beach/swimming facilities
One kilometer away there is a swimming pool with 25 and 50 meter pools. Within a radius of five to ten kilometers you will find several small lakes and ponds that invite you to swim.
Nightlife
Pisek has around 30,000 inhabitants, so there is something to do in both summer and winter. There are several nice restaurants, bars and pubs in the town center, including La Noche and Club New York.
Social program
We recommend a trip to the old town of Pisek with Europe's oldest stone bridge or a visit to a typical Bohemian restaurant with good cuisine, such as Restaurant U Reineru or Kozlovna U Plechandy.

Team building
About 400 meters from the hotel, four bowling alleys invite you to a small team competition. We can also create an individual program for your team, e.g. high ropes course, canoeing, bike tours, etc.
