Watersley Sports & Talentpark - The Tower Hostel

What sets The Tower Hostel apart is its accommodation. Here, everyone stays in single rooms. However, there are common areas on each floor where all the players can gather. The entire Watersley Sports & Talent Park complex is designed for athletes, providing ideal conditions for a training camp.

Training sessions take place primarily at the V.V. Sanderbout sports ground. There are two almost identical artificial-turf pitches (100 x 64 metres and 105 x 67 metres respectively), of which the slightly smaller training pitch is mainly used. The distance from the hotel to the pitches is 3.9 kilometres, which is approximately an eight-minute drive. If required, bicycles can also be hired from the accommodation, meaning the training grounds can be reached in less than 15 minutes. Alternatively, the sports grounds of S.V. Munstergeleen are available. During the winter months, the modern artificial turf pitch (100 x 63 metres) can be used; this is approximately a five-minute drive or about a 20-minute walk away.

The Watersley Sports & Talent Park is a modern sports campus specifically designed to meet the needs of athletes and teams. The Tower Hostel spans four floors. One floor is equipped with ten single rooms and also features a lounge and a kitchenette. The other three floors each have 14 single rooms and four double rooms. Meals are served in this building. Alternatively, Sephs Hotel and the Team Houses are also available on the site, ensuring that a range of requirements and budgets can be optimally catered for.

Activities

There are various opportunities for active leisure pursuits around the Watersley Sports & Talent Park. Right on campus, participants can take part in running and athletics sessions, among other activities, and make use of the available sports fields and training areas. In addition, there are opportunities for group activities within the facility that can be easily integrated into the daily routine of the training camp

Nightlife

There are various bars and nightlife options in the immediate vicinity of the Watersley Sports & Talent Park, particularly in the cities of Sittard and Maastricht. These are just a short distance away and offer options for a team night out off campus when desired.
