The Residence Sol Garden Istra offers practically all the amenities of the 4* main building, but is considerably cheaper.
Training
Training takes place on one of over ten natural grass pitches or alternatively on two artificial pitches in Umag and the surrounding area (e.g. Savudrija, Babici; distance to the hotel one to nine kilometers). Movable goals are available on most pitches. Changing rooms can be used for an additional charge. During the winter months, up to 30 teams are accepted at the same time at weekends. Training times and pitches are allocated on site by the hotel's sports manager, who works in three shifts.

Hotel
The Village is located around 50 meters from the main building <a href="hotel-sol-garden-istra">Hotel Sol Garden Istra</a>, but offers practically identical comfort in terms of rooms and facilities. In the main building there are two restaurants, an aperitif bar, a Playstation corner, a TV room with satellite TV, various stores (including newspapers), an indoor pool, a wellness area and an outdoor pool area. Free WLAN Internet access is available in the main building and in the rooms. Meals are taken in the main building, and the fitness room and wellness area are also available in the main building.
Rooms
The Village has 33 rooms, all equipped with satellite TV, telephone, mini bar, safe, air conditioning/heating, bathroom with bathtub/shower, hairdryer and balcony. There are also family rooms, which are two rooms connected by a connecting door (2+2).
Fitness
The fitness room in the main building is spacious and very professionally equipped.
Wellness
The wellness area leaves nothing to be desired with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, indoor pool and Jacuzzi.
Map
Umag is located in the north of Istria. The Hotel Garden Istra is situated around three kilometers north of Umag in a vacation complex, 250 meters from the sea. The Village Sol Garden Istra is located in the immediate vicinity of the main building.
We recommend arriving by car or coach, as Umag is about an hour's drive from both Trieste and Pula airports.
Activities
Beach/swimming facilities
The hotel has two pools (indoor and outdoor) and is located - separated by a small park - just 250 meters from the rocky beach by the sea.
Nightlife
Umag is rather quiet in the winter months, but there are also a few nice places to go out at this time of year, such as the Mystic Pub right in Umag.
Sports facilities
Right next to the hotel is a sports complex with three small artificial turf courts. The neighbouring Hotel Coral (also part of the SolMelia Group) has 14 tennis courts. The beach volleyball courts can be used on the beach. The complex also has a basketball court, a bowling center and table tennis tables. Practically all indoor sports can be played in the multi-purpose hall in Umag.
Team building
Near the hotel there is a climbing garden, a paintball facility and a bowling center with six lanes.
