Training

The training ground in Crikvenica comprises a large natural grass pitch (100 x 64 meters) and a small artificial pitch (60 x 40 meters) and is located around 3.5 kilometers or a 6-minute drive from the accommodation. The natural grass pitch (90 x 60 meters) in Tribalj is around 8.8 kilometers from the hotel.

Hotel

Hotel Katarina is located at the entrance to Selce on the Crikvenica Riviera. The modern hotel has a stylish bar with a large terrace, a newly renovated restaurant with a show cooking area, a congress hall, two large outdoor pools including a pool bar, as well as a wellness & spa area with an indoor pool with seawater, whirlpool and saunas.

Rooms

All guests are accommodated in 176 stylishly furnished rooms, all with shower/WC, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, Internet access, minibar and safe.

Wellness

The hotel has a heated indoor pool with salt water, a whirlpool and a modern and spacious wellness & spa area with Finnish sauna, bio-sauna and relaxation zone.

The training grounds are located in Kvarner Bay, around 20 minutes' walk from the promenade and Crikvenica town centre. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the beach and offers a unique view of the island of Krk.

We recommend arriving by car or coach and the hotel can be reached from Rijeka Airport in half an hour by car.

Beach/swimming

The beaches of Selce are in the immediate vicinity. The beach called "Poli Mora" is highly recommended and well worth a visit.

The hinterland of the Riviera is full of historical sights.

Sports facilities

A small path leads directly along the sea and is ideal for running sessions. It is possible to hire bicycles and e-bikes.

Everything was fine during the booking process. Fitness area would be great if it was also included in the package. Room and food were all fine (in terms of gluten-free, it would be good if there was a small separate area at breakfast e.g. with pastries, muesli, ...). Training ground and organization were very good, everything was to our complete satisfaction. Due to an incident, we played against another opponent at short notice. However, this organization worked very well thanks to SOCCATOURS contact Dragan. He was always available for us. The fact that a deposit of 500,- was required would be good if this was also said in advance.<b>Note SOCCATOURS: </b><i>Thank you very much for the detailed feedback. The handling was impeccable and exemplary for excellent service. Compared to other providers, I was extremely satisfied. The accommodation and the rooms were equipped to standard. The food was very good and the selection at all meals was more than sufficient. The wellness area was not large but completely okay and sufficient. The grass pitch was in good condition, the artificial turf was a bit small, but still good to have an alternative on wet days. The planned training could be fully implemented in the tactical area. In addition, camaraderie and individual discussions were not neglected. We did not want to play a test match. We were completely satisfied with the organization during the training camp. We had organized the supporting program ourselves. Unfortunately, I can not recommend a disco or the like, as everything was still closed.
