The destination Spittal an der Drau impresses above all with the combination of a beautiful 4* city hotel with a central location and one of the very few heated artificial turf pitches in Austria.
Training
Training takes place in the SV Spittal an der Drau stadium, which has a heated artificial turf pitch (105x68 meters) with floodlights (heated if necessary). The stadium is just under a kilometer away from the hotel. In summer, if desired and in good weather, training can also take place on a good natural grass pitch - right next to the stadium.

Hotel
The traditional Stadt-Hotel Ertl (run by the 5th generation) offers upscale hospitality with family flair. It has 35 comfortable rooms, a dining room with 80 seats, a sun terrace and a park-like garden on 5,000 square meters with swimming pool (only in summer). The heart of the hotel is the South American themed restaurant "Cantina Salud", which offers traditional dishes as well as spicy Tex-Mex dishes and a great cocktail bar and is very popular in the region. Two modern, fully equipped seminar rooms for 20-50 people are available for tactical meetings.
Rooms
The hotel offers a total of 35 comfortable and stylish rooms, all with WC and shower/bath, flat-screen TV with satellite, safe and telephone. The rooms also offer a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
Wellness
The hotel itself does not offer a wellness area, but our teams enjoy discounted admission to the nearby Drautalperle, a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool, which has a 25-meter sports pool, an adventure pool, an outdoor pool, a children's pool, a water slide and a beautiful sauna area with steam brine bath, herbal and Finnish sauna, caldarium, infrared cabin, a cold water pool and an ice fountain.

Spittal an der Drau is the urban center of Upper Carinthia and can be easily reached via the Tauern freeway. From the centrally located hotel you can reach the city center in five minutes on foot, the train station is also just a few steps away. The nearby Millstätter See can be reached in about ten minutes by car.

The beautiful Millstätter See lake can be reached in around five minutes by car, while the Drautalperle indoor and outdoor pool is around ten minutes' walk away.
Nightlife
With around 15,000 inhabitants, Spittal an der Drau is the urban center of Upper Carinthia and offers some nice places to go out.
