Training camp in Lower Austria

Austria's largest province in terms of area, Lower Austria, stretches across the centre of Central Europe. Surrounding the federal capital Vienna, the state can be divided clockwise into four different regions according to its nature: the Waldviertel, the Weinviertel, the Industrieviertel and the Mostviertel. In each of the districts, you will find the best conditions for training camps in summer on natural grass and in winter on artificial turf. Lower Austria is also known for its good wine, down-to-earth food and friendly hosts. In professional football, the province is home to SKN St. Pölten in the provincial capital and FC Admira Wacker Mödling in Südstadt.

Frequently Asked Questions

The best time for a football training camp in Lower Austria is certainly summer. The climatic conditions in July and August are perfect. And the natural grass pitches then present themselves like golf turf in perfect green.

But a successful training camp can also be held in winter thanks to a large number of artificial turf pitches.
