Since its one-year renovation break, the Hotel Maestral is once again our top destination in Croatia. The hotel simply offers the best price/performance ratio of all 4* training camps in Croatia and now also impresses with freshly renovated rooms, a new lobby and a restaurant in a modern design. Now it's time to be quick!
Training
A natural grass pitch (100 x 65 meters), a large, very good artificial turf pitch (100 x 63 meters) and a smaller artificial turf pitch (approx. 60 x 40 meters) are available directly on the hotel grounds. In addition, the natural grass pitch of the local club (100 x 65 meters), which is also only 200 meters from the hotel, can be used. On weekends when the maximum number of ten teams is reached, an additional artificial turf pitch is used in Dajla (103 x 60 meters), five kilometers away. Training times are scheduled approx. one week before arrival and take place in three shifts. On busy weekends, up to 10 teams can be in the hotel at the same time.

Hotel
The beautiful hotel has an aperitif bar, an à la carte restaurant, a tavern and a sun terrace with music. A games room, a conference room, a TV room, a hairdressing salon and a souvenir and newspaper store complete the offer. Free WLAN access in the lobby and in some rooms, otherwise free Internet via cable (available at the reception). There is a free bus parking lot in front of the hotel. On request, the sister hotel Laguna *** is also available, which is a cheaper alternative.
Rooms
All 318 rooms are equipped with shower/WC, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning, internet connection, safe and hairdryer. Rooms with balcony and sea view are available on request. Please note that only single and double rooms can be booked at the hotel, multi-bed rooms are only available on request.
Fitness
The large fitness room is equipped with the latest TechnoGym equipment and can only be used free of charge by our teams.
Wellness
The heated indoor seawater pool is equipped with hydromassage jets. Access to the beautiful wellness area with whirlpool, Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, ice fountain, steam bath and relaxation area is available at an extra charge.
Map
The hotel is located in the north of Istria, about a five-minute walk from the centre of Novigrad. It is situated directly by the sea and has its own beach. The hotel is surrounded by peaceful parkland.
We recommend arriving independently by car or coach. The Aminess Maestral Hotel can be reached from Trieste and Rijeka airports in around one and a half hours. The quickest way is from Pula airport in around 45 minutes.
Activities
Beach/swimming facilities
There is a white, grainy and relatively steeply sloping pebble beach, in many places there are also concreted bathing platforms that protrude into the sea. The hotel has its own private section.
Nightlife
Novigrad is not exactly famous for its nightlife in the winter months, but some bars are open all year round.
Social program
Excursions to the city centers of Novigrad and Porec are always worthwhile.
Sports facilities
The area around the hotel is ideal for running, with a beautiful path leading directly along the sea. There are also several sports facilities nearby, some of which can be used for a fee, such as 17 clay tennis courts and a court for (beach) volleyball, basketball, handball and a sports hall with HARO sports flooring. The tennis courts are opened according to the weather conditions.
Team building
A few minutes' drive away there is a go-kart track, which is open all year round, a cross-kart track and a paintball facility (all by prior arrangement). We are happy to help you with the organization. In Umag there is a high ropes course and also a paintball facility, which we can reserve for you in advance. We are also happy to organize green fees or taster golf lessons on the only 18-hole golf course in Istria, the Adriatic Golf Club.

Other information
Thanks to the new training pitches, the hotel is also becoming increasingly interesting for professional clubs in the summer; recently, for example, the entire Manchester City squad stayed at the hotel.
A deposit of 50 euros per room is required, which will be refunded at check-out.
In addition, a declaration of liability and house rules must be signed for each team.
During the entire stay, there is a 10% discount on the standard price of all drinks (water and soft drinks are included in the room rate at mealtimes). The discount can only be applied if the drinks are written on the room number and paid for at reception on departure.
