My personal tip for you
On the one hand, this destination offers very good training opportunities on natural or artificial turf, and on the other, the simple but well-equipped hotel (top wellness area) is very centrally located. I was able to see the high quality of the cuisine for myself. Worth a trip in both summer and winter due to the very good price-performance ratio.
Training
Training takes place on the training grounds of the Hungarian second division club Zalaegerszegi TE FC, which has an academy and a stadium with training pitches. The stadium, next to which there is an artificial turf pitch, is only about 900 meters away and can be reached on foot. The second artificial turf pitch is located in the academy, about 1.9 kilometers from the hotel. In winter, training takes place on the artificial turf pitch.

Hotel
The hotel consists of a historic old building from the time of the monarchy and a new building in which the rooms are located. It is a simple but well-kept city hotel with a restaurant (very good food), beer bar, bar, several conference rooms, 24-hour reception and its own parking lot. Those arriving with a large bus can park it free of charge at the nearby stadium. The highlight of the hotel is the spacious wellness area on the top floor.
Rooms
The hotel has 15 single rooms and 24 twin rooms, all of which are equipped with a bathroom with bath or shower, TV, minibar, telephone, hairdryer, cable and WLAN Internet access.
Fitness Center
The hotel's fitness center offers a few weight machines and eight cardio machines (treadmills, bicycles, etc.).
Wellness
The large wellness area on the top floor is a highlight of the hotel and offers a whirlpool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, steam cabin, infrared cabin, aroma cabin, salt tub, ice fountain and a relaxation room:

The city of Zalaegerszeg with its 60,000 inhabitants can be reached from Vienna in around two and a half hours and from Graz in around two hours. The hotel is located directly in the city center
Activities
Beach/swimming facilities
Around four kilometers from the hotel is the large outdoor and fun pool Aquacity, which is unbeatable in summer. Right next to it is a large thermal bath.
Nightlife
Zalaegerszeg is well known for its nightlife and offers a lot, the nearest club is in the basement of the hotel. If you are interested we can send you a list of the possibilities.
Social program
Depending on the season, we recommend a trip to the thermal baths or the large outdoor pool. If you are coming from Vienna, we recommend a visit to the Parndorf Designer Outlet on your outward or return journey.
