Hotel Unione
Family-run hotel directly in Bellinzona, below the famous castle complex and directly on the pedestrian zone that leads to the city center. Close to the train station and the training grounds, which also makes it possible to travel by public transport.

Training
In February, the artificial turf pitch of the Stadio Comunale of AC Bellinzona, right next to the hotel, can be used. This pitch, with official masses, is one of the best pitches in the region and is also used by the professionals of AC Bellinzona.
From March, the "Centro Sportivo Gerretta" is used for training. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the football pitch, which is perfect for warming up. Otherwise, the public bus, directly opposite the hotel, can also be used to get there. The "Centro Sportivo Gerretta" complex has a large natural grass pitch with official dimensions and a smaller artificial pitch. The natural grass is usually used, but the artificial pitch is used in bad weather. Fixed and mobile goals are available.
In special cases, when the "Centro Sportivo Gerretta" is fully booked, training takes place on the natural grass pitch in Gorduno, which can also be reached in 15 minutes by public transport or in 7 minutes by car.

Hotel
The Hotel Unione is a family-run, typical Ticino hotel. Thanks to its extensive experience with sports teams, it leaves nothing to be desired. Thanks to its great location, directly below the Castel Grande and opposite the pedestrian zone that leads to the city centre, everything can be easily done on foot. The train station is also within easy reach, which is why it is also possible to arrive by public transport. The hotel also offers an in-house restaurant and a meeting room for use. Also included is the "Ticino Ticket", which allows free use of public transport in Ticino from check-in until the end of the day of departure.
Rooms
Modern and beautifully furnished single, double and triple or quadruple rooms are available. The rooms are non-smoking and equipped with bathtub or shower, air conditioning, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, telephone, desk, hairdryer, minibar and soundproofed windows.

Bellinzona is the first larger town when you arrive in Ticino and is characterized by its castle-like townscape. Thanks to its proximity to the city centre and the football pitch, everything is within walking distance.

Sports facilities
In addition to a visit to a match of the local AC Bellinzona (Challenge League), where the stadium is within a 5-minute walk, various other sports can also be booked or tried out on site. We will be happy to help you with the organization if you are interested.
