Training

The US Arco stadium, which has a large natural grass pitch (105x68m) and an artificial turf pitch (100x60m), is just a 300-metre walk from the hotel. Our teams mainly train on the artificial turf pitch in winter, but in good weather conditions it is also possible to train on the natural grass pitch on request.

Hotel

Rooms

The 82 beautifully furnished, spacious rooms are spread over 5 floors. They are all equipped with a minibar, room safe, flat-screen TV with digital satellite reception (many German channels), desk, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and heating, bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer. In addition, all are soundproofed and have a balcony.

Wellness

The hotel has a wellness area with sauna (with TV!), steam bath and Kneipp facility. It also offers various massages and treatments.

Arco is about a ten-minute drive north of Lake Garda and is located in a beautiful district just a few minutes' walk from the town center.

The hotel has an outdoor pool, which is only open in summer. Lake Garda can be reached in around ten minutes by car. In Linfano (Riva del Garda) there is the "Garda Thermae" thermal spa, which has several salt water pools at 32 degrees, a sauna area with Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath, soft sauna, agrillarium, Kneipp facility and much more. The distance to the hotel is around five kilometers.

Nightlife

Arco is rather quiet in the spring months, Riva is much busier (around five kilometers away).

We recommend a trip to Riva on Lake Garda.

Sports facilities

Arco is known as a mountain bike and climbing stronghold in Italy. The surroundings of the hotel are wonderful, morning runs are highly recommended.

    The booking was completely uncomplicated and problem-free. All open questions could be clarified in advance. The feedback was all very prompt! Ms Bauhaus did a great job! We trained a little outside on a very new artificial turf pitch. Travel time was about 10 minutes. The training conditions were excellent! Changing rooms were not used. Our focus was on technique, tactics and game forms. We were able to implement everything as planned! A morning run in the area is also recommended! A training game was deliberately not arranged. The contact person on site introduced himself at the beginning. However, no further meeting was necessary. The allocation of training times took place relatively late, which made planning the supporting programme somewhat difficult. The training times were also adhered to very well by the other teams. There are many different possibilities outside the training field.

    The handling worked excellently, only the accessibility on site was not possible to change any times of the training. Even a call to SOCCATOURS Vienna could not do anything. The training conditions fully met the promises. Standards, coordination, technique, tactics were trained. The destination was ideally suited for this. Unfortunately, no training game was possible due to Covid, but that was communicated to us in advance, so in that respect perfect. We were satisfied with the supporting program. Conclusion: We were very satisfied and will plan again through SOCCATOURS.

    Der Kontakt mit SOCCATOURS war vorbildlich. Sehr angenehmer und freundlicher Telefonkontakt. Auch kurzfristige Änderungen wurden schnell umgesetzt. Vielen Dank! Der Kunstrasenplatz im Stadion des US Arco ist sehr gut und vor allem fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Umkleiden entsprechen nicht unserem Standard, aber brauchen aufgrund der Nähe zum Hotel auch nicht benutzt werden.
    Der Kunstrasenplatz in Varone dagegen ist äußerst hart. Trainingsmaterial hatten wir (bis auf Tore natürlich) selbst dabei. Ein Trainingsspiel konnte leider nicht stattfinden. Es konnte kein Gegner gefunden werden. Die Organisation vor Ort verlief problemlos. Unsere festgelegten Trainingszeiten konnten wir ohne Einschränkungen ausnutzen.
    Wir hatten nur einmal kurz Kontakt mit unserem Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Ein weiterer Kontakt war nicht notwendig, da es keine Probleme im Ablauf gab. In Arco bzw im nahegelegenen Riva del Garda und Torbole lassen sich viele nette Bars und gute Restaurants finden. Fazit: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältn

    We are very satisfied with the way SOCCATOURS handled the training. Training times were ideal, only the artificial turf pitch was very hard. It was a pity that we were not allowed to train on the grass pitch. We were able to go through the training camp as planned. A mini-tournament was played with 3 teams, which was a good end to the training camp. We are very satisfied with the organization on site.

    Everything went really smoothly in advance and the documents arrived on time.
    the hotel was really great with good food and nice staff. The wellness area was quite small but you could use everything very well and the rooms were also very clean.
    training:
    unfortunately, we were NEVER allowed to use the natural grass (stadium) in bright sunshine and great temperatures, although we were assured in advance that if the weather allowed it, we could hold our training sessions on the natural grass. We only used the artificial turf which was a bit hard but otherwise quite okay. The changing rooms, which we booked separately in advance, were not very inviting, very small and they are already very outdated (showers only work partially - these are very much in need of renovation). To justify this extra charge for the changing rooms, we would have imagined something else. There was no training material on site, but we also had everything with us ourselves.
    focus:
    we focused our training sessions on ball technique and game forms and we always had a tactics meeting before or after training. As we were the only ones in the hotel, as many of the teams cancelled due to the corona crisis, we were always able to hold our training sessions as planned. I think that this destination can be used for all areas of soccer, especially ball technique on artificial turf :).
    training match: No, we didn't have a training match as we hadn't booked one in advance and we were the only ones in the hotel and on the pitches.
    organization:
    i had a really great contact person in Mr. Sautner Christoph, who was always available for me by e-mail. Thanks again for the great organization and the smooth process.
    climate:
    we had great conditions with super weather and great temperatures (according to the season). Unfortunately, as already mentioned, only ever on artificial turf, although the weather was really very nice. We would have expected to be able to hold at least 1 training session/day on the natural grass - because we also play the championship mainly on this surface. There was also never any precipitation.
    supporting program:
    due to the corona crisis, we actually stayed at the hotel all the time. Except on Saturday evening, we walked to the old town of Arco for pizza. The pizzeria was really inviting and the food was also excellent.
    conclusion: Our training camp in Arco was really great and we had a great time with the team. The hotel was really great, very central and the pitches were only a few minutes' walk away. The wellness area was very small but you could find everything you needed (sauna, Kneipp facilities etc.). The food in the hotel was delicious and always very well prepared, especially the breakfast buffet was great. The staff were also very friendly. As already mentioned, it was a shame that we were never allowed to use the natural turf because it was agreed in advance that we would be allowed to hold our training sessions in the stadium in good weather and the changing rooms were really not very inviting and not very hygienic, and all for an extra charge per training session. We would of course book with you again, as everything else really worked perfectly, very uncomplicated and quick handling of the training camp on your part.
