The hotel is just a 300-metre walk from the sports grounds, so training is just a short stroll away, and the destination can be reached quickly from several federal states thanks to its location in the north of Bavaria and the nearby freeway.
Training
The training ground of 1. FC 1920 Sand/Main has both a natural and an artificial turf pitch, which is only 300 meters away from the hotel and can therefore be easily reached on foot. In the winter months, training takes place exclusively on artificial turf.

Hotel
The hotel is located in the center of Sand am Main, which is in the middle of the Franconian vineyards. The regional cuisine is also reflected in the hotel's dishes, which are prepared by the hotel and kitchen chef. As a winemaker, he also combines the hotel's own wine with international dishes.
Rooms
The hotel has three different room categories, Comfort, Standard and Economy, whereby accommodation is primarily planned in the Standard category. The capacity ranges from single to four-bed rooms. However, there are predominantly double rooms. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC, satellite TV and WLAN.

Sand am Main is a small community in the Lower Franconian district of Haßberge in Bavaria. The village is idyllically situated on the River Main, surrounded by vineyards, fields and rolling hills. Sand is known above all for its proximity to the banks of the Main, the wine tradition in the region and the sociable village life, which is characterized by clubs and festivals.
The Altmain parking lot, which is free of charge for buses and cars, is approx. 400 meters/5 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Beach/swimming facilities
Directly behind the training ground is the Sandner Baggersee, which is a popular swimming spot in summer.
Nightlife
The nightlife in Sand am Main is rather tranquil, characterized by traditional wine taverns, inns and beer gardens. However, it becomes very lively, especially during the Kirchweih or wine and music festivals. For a wider range of bars and clubs, it is worth taking a trip to the nearby towns of Haßfurt, Schweinfurt or Bamberg.
Sports facilities
The region offers numerous opportunities for sports enthusiasts: cycling and hiking trails along the Main and canoeing on the river. Nordic walking and jogging in the vineyards or on the Main floodplains are also popular.

The surrounding area is ideal for team-building activities: canoe tours on the Main, guided vineyard hikes with tastings or joint excursions into nature offer the perfect setting.
