My personal tip for you

Bleiburg in southern Carinthia offers optimal conditions in summer with its good natural grass pitches 300 meters from the accommodation. This destination is also ideal for training camps in winter: the artificial turf pitches in Globasnitz and Prevalje offer excellent quality. I would also like to highlight the good cuisine, which is a particular focus in this destination.

Training

The training ground with a main pitch (102x60 meters) and a training pitch (95x60 meters) is located just 300 meters from the guest house and is easily accessible on foot. Both pitches offer a well-tended natural grass surface and are equipped with floodlights. In the winter months or in bad weather, training takes place around ten kilometers away on the Globasnitz artificial turf pitch (108x68 meters, top floodlights) and in Prevalje in Slovenia, also ten kilometers away, on artificial turf (105x60 meters).

Hotel

The hotel was built as an energy-optimized passive house, for which it received the Energy Globe Award, and impresses with its striking appearance (red cube) and modern facilities. It has a beautiful dining room with a spacious buffet area and sun terrace, a trendy panorama café with bar, various workshop and seminar rooms (including a lecture hall), spacious lounge areas, an (e-)bike and (e-)scooter rental, ample parking for cars and buses, WLAN Internet access throughout the hotel and a lift. In the hotel and in the outdoor area you will also find countless learning stations on the subject of energy.

Rooms

The hotel offers a total of 45 rooms or 150 beds. Four rooms are handicapped accessible. The beautiful rooms are simply, but very high quality furnished and have 2-5 beds, flat screen TV and bathroom with shower and toilet. In the hotel and in the rooms there is free WLAN internet access throughout.

The bilingual municipality of Bleiburg (479 meters above sea level) is located in the southeast of Carinthia, the southernmost province of Austria, which has a positive effect on the climate. Although the guest house is quietly located on the outskirts of the town, it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the center.

How to get here

Bleiburg is easily accessible by car via the A2, and the train station is only about one kilometer from the hotel.

About 200 meters from the house is the outdoor pool with 60 x 30 meter pool and a 1.5 meter diving tower. In the vicinity of Bleiburg are the Pirkdorfer See (five kilometers) and the very famous Klopeiner See (21 kilometers).

Supporting program

Excursion to one of the beautiful bathing lakes in the area, excursion to the provincial capital Klagenfurt, visit to a rustic "Buschenschenke", excursion to Bleiburg's local mountain - the "Petzen", Minimundus, summer toboggan run, day trips to Slovenia, visit to a WAC Bundesliga match and much more.

Sports facilities

The hotel offers billiards, table tennis and table football, among other things. Right next to the hotel there is a double ball sports hall for volleyball and basketball (37x27x 9 meters, divisible, with parquet flooring) and a large bouldering area. There are two beach volleyball courts just 100 meters from the guest house and five outdoor tennis courts around 500 meters away. For mountain bike fans, the "Petzen" is ideally located eight kilometers away.

Team building

The region is ideal for team-building activities such as bouldering, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, tunnel biking (!), bungee jumping, escape rooms and much more.

I award eight out of ten points for the handling by soccatours - more precise and fixed information on the training equipment available and usable on site would still be good. The artificial turf was a little worse than expected. Training material would have been extensively available. If we had had this information in more detail, we would not have had to bring everything ourselves. We were able to go through our main focuses without any problems (tactics + standards). We had not wanted a training game. I award full points for the organization on site. We can recommend the cross-country arena in Pirkdorf (cross-country skiing + biathlon) as a supporting program in winter.

Competent handling by the SOCCATOURS team. the price/performance ratio in the hotel was top. friendly staff, very good food. the artificial turf is really in very good shape, host club also super nice. main focus: all kinds of training games: game against SV Pram. the level was as commissioned! very good organization on site. unfortunately it was very cold at minus 10°C. you just have to move around a bit. pitch was always cleared despite snowfall. supporting program: no bars, no discos. conclusion: we can recommend the destination without reservation. next year we will be back!

I was able to change the exact number of participants, which was also agreed. Only a fine adjustment about ten days before the start of the trip suddenly seemed a little more difficult than initially agreed. But it worked anyway. Training material (poles, ...) was only available to a limited extent. Goals were there, that was important! The pitch was in good condition, despite the heat. Our main focus was on finishing the last season and preparing for the test matches during the stay. I organised the training matches myself. We had very hot days, but the pitches were still in good condition and not dried out. The outdoor pool was included in the accommodation. Conclusion: Everything worked out, I would go to Bleiburg again.

Da wir zuerst eine andere Destination wählen wollten und leider zu spät dran waren, ging die Angebotserstellung sehr rasch. Alles wurde uns klar und deutlich erklärt und wir konnten keine großartigen Überraschungen im Vergleich zur Internetpräsenz feststellen. Verbesserungsfähig wäre vielleicht die Information über die Auslastung der angebotenen Offerte. In unserem Fall hätten wir sicher früher gebucht, wenn wir gewusst hätten dass die Belegung in der zuerst gewählten Destination knapp sei. Diese Destination ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Tolle Zimmer, abwechslungsreiches Essen und freundlicher Service. Wäscheservice ging sehr schnell. Einziges Manko ist die Entfernung zum Kunstrasenplatz. Der Trainingsplatz war top. Toller Kunstrasen und geräumige Kabine. Unser Glück war, dass wir die Trainingsutensilien und das Trainingsgewand in der Kabine lassen durften. Unser Trainingsprogramm war auf Technik, Spielformen und Taktik abgestimmt. Wir konnten es auch genau so durchziehen, wie es geplant war. A

Perfekter Service von fussballtrainingslager.com. Das Entgegenkommen bei der finalen Meldung der Teilnehmeranzahl war wirklich super! Das JuFa Hotel in Bleiburg ist immer eine Reise wert. Dieses mal war es ganz besonders schön, weil das Haus nicht ausgebucht war, wir viel Platz hatten und als "I-Tüpfelchen" das Halbfinale der österreichischen Volleyball-Meisterschaft live (und kostenlos!) miterleben durften. Toller Kunstrasenplatz in Globasnitz - da kommen Neidgefühle auf, wenn man sich die heimischen Platzverhältnisse anschaut. Ein Punkt Abwertung wegen der zehn Kilometer Entfernung zum Hotel. Schwerpunkte waren Technik und Taktik. Die Ansprechpartner vor Ort sind stets bemüht und freundlich. Alle Anliegen werden ernst genommen und man fühlt sich wirklich gut aufgehoben. Das Wetter kann der Veranstalter m. M. nach nicht beeinflussen.
